All North Yorkshire maintained schools have a similar approach to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school.
At Seamer and Irton CP School, for all children, our focus is always on providing quality first teaching, beginning in the classroom and this is no different for any child who has been identified as having Special Educational Needs.
