Welcome to our School Library

At Seamer and Irton CP School we are passionate about books and reading! Our friendly library is at the heart of our school and has something to encourage a love of reading in everyone.

We use Libresoft Librarian software to help us run and manage our library efficiently. Children can access this at home too with their personal login to search the catalogue, make reservations and write book reviews.

We have a weekly timetable with library sessions for each class and enjoy story time with our EYFS classes too. The library is also open at lunchtimes (Mon – Thurs) where you will find Mrs Jay-Hanmer and our team of helpful Year 6 pupil librarians.

So whether you choose to travel by book to a magical land, enjoy a crafty activity, have a hunger for history or you’re a fan of football facts, we look forward to seeing you soon!
